Here's My #1 Tip For Straight Golf Shots

Hi

So you want to hit the golf ball straight, consistently?

Here's My #1 Tip For Straight Golf Shots...

Before we begin, there's one big problem with hitting straight golf shots which is this...

THE GOLF BALL IS ROUND!

Imagine if the golf ball was square. I know, I know, it wouldn't be called a ball then would it?! Duh!

But let's for a second imagine a square golf ball. Do you think it would be easier to learn to square the clubface up at impact?

I think it would.

And having a square clubface at impact is much more important for straight golf shots than swing path.

And when I say much more important - I'm not kidding.

Research has found that the alignment of your clubface at impact is 80% - 85% more important than the path you're swinging on.

That's huge!

Naturally you want the swing path to be going directly towards your target, along with a square clubface... but working on a square clubface alignment is MORE important.

And here is how I suggest you do this....

To do this drill, you'll need to get a box in which you purchase three golf balls (a three ball box).

Then take two golf balls out of the box so just one golf ball is left. Then I want you to position this box directly at your target and make sure the ball is at the end of the box where you're going to strike the box. I suggest you do this with a 5-iron.

Now the great thing about doing this drill, is that it's going to force you to really accelerate through the ball. Plus, it's going to help you to square the clubface up, because you're going to be hitting into a square edge rather than the round ball.

So smack the crap... ah... ball rather, out of the box!

The only problem with doing this drill is that after just one shot you're going to kill the box. So you need to find a good supply of 3 ball golf boxes to do this. Here's an idea... heard of dumpster diving? :-) No - just joking.

Jokes aside, this is a great way to combine training yourself to hit it longer AND straighter. And if you can find a good supply of 3 ball golf boxes, do it regularly for longer and straighter drives.

Naturally, there's a lot more to hitting long, straight shots than just practicing this. Because if your grip is bad it will be very hard for you to square the clubface up at impact.

If your alignment is poor then again, it will be tough to square the clubface up at impact consistently. And I could go on and on. But what you need to do is build a professional golf swing one step at a time.

And to help you do that I have for you The Long Game Mastery program. This program gives you a step-by-step plan to build a tour quality golf swing in the shortest amount of time. To find out more about it go here:

A Cure For Pulled Golf Shots

Hi

Today I have a simple but effective cure for a pull problem.

A pulled golf shot is caused by an incorrect clubhead path and clubface at impact.

Simply, the clubhead path is travelling along a line (to the left) that is not directly going towards the target at impact. And the clubface is pointing left of your target at impact.

Now I could give you lots of technical reasons why this happens but I won't. I imagine if you have the pulls you just want to fix the problem ASAP. So here's the best way of doing that.

Grab a box. Quite a long box is good. A box like you get golf clubs in is perfect. If you can't get one like that just find the next best box you can.

Next get your 5-iron and tee up a ball. Then place your box down just outside the toe of your club. Make sure you line up your box so the edge closest to the toe of your clubface is pointing just to the right of your target.

Once setup the goal is to hit the ball and not the box. If you hit the box before the ball that means your path is coming across the ball and that's not good.

So to fix your pull problem quickly simply keep hitting balls with your box positioned just outside the toe of your club and do your best to miss the box and hit the ball. When you do this obviously the ball will be starting straight at your target.

This drill gives great feedback on your clubhead path and helps to fix a pull quickly.

Let me know how you get on if you try this.

Also, here's something else you need to try. It's called The Long Game Mastery Program. And this program will teach you, step-by-step, how to build a tour pro quality golf swing. Go here to check it out:

Here's the biggest reason why you hit bad golf shots

Imagine this...

You're hitting the ball great.  One great shot after another.  Then, out of
the blue you hit a bad golf shot.  Then another, and another.

So what happened here?

Did you lose your swing?

Of course you didn't.

Does your golf swing need a big overhaul?

Of course it doesn't because not long ago you were hitting great shots.

So what's the cause of going from hitting it great one second to hitting it
bad the next?

Well, the most common reason is because you had excessive tension in your
body.

When you swing a golf club you need tension in certain muscules because
you're swinging a golf club so fast.  If you had no tension as you swung

then the club would come flying out of your hands.

The problem golfers face is using excessive tension in their body to hit golf
shots.

There's good and bad news with this.

The bad news is that if you don't do anything about this habit of hitting shots
with excessive tension, then you'll always be plagued by inconsistency.

The good news, however, is that you can actually train yourself to hit golf shots
consistently with only the necessary amount of tension in the appropriate muscles.

And in this Mental Golf Mastery program {affiliate URL here) you're going to learn
how to train yourself to do exactly that.  You'll learn that in Lesson 5 of that program.

Plus you get two mp3 audios to teach you this very important skill.

At the moment there's a special on the Mental Golf Mastery program, which you
can find out more about here:

You need to go there right now to check it out because very soon the price is going
up significantly.  After you get it, have a great week implementing hitting golf shots
with only the necessary amount of tension to hit them perfectly.

You'll enjoy golf so much more when you do that.

Why Swing Changes Cause Bad Ball Striking For A Time...

If you're making a swing change you will often hit the ball very badly.
The reason this happens is because it takes a while for you to get used to the new
move. But also, what is happening is that when you're "trying" hard to make a

swing change you are using excessive tension.  This causes shots to go shorter
than normal.

So when you learn to hit shots with only the necessary amount of
tension you'll hit the ball a lot further with a lot less effort.  To start doing
that now, go here to get the Mental Golf Mastery program on special now:

how to hit your golf shots with only the necessary amount

Stop trying to hole putts.

Isn't that what you're meant to do?

Well, yes and no.

When you're putting your goal should be for the ball to
go in the hole.  But here's the thing...

Have you ever hit a putt that you thought was perfect but
for some reason the ball didn't fall in?

So what happened -- didn't you try hard enough?

Maybe if you tried a bit harder the ball would have gone
in.

Obviously that's stupid thinking.

But when I watch a lot of people putting, they are trying
really hard!  I'm not pointing fingers either, because
recently I've been guilty of this too.

Everyone knows with putting that there's luck involved.
You can hit a perfect putt and the ball may not go in.
You can hit a putt that you swear was going to miss and
it goes in.

So why do we steer putts?

When you watch the pros on T.V, very rarely do you see
them steer putts.  They put a nice stroke on the ball, hold
their finish, and watch the outcome.

But most "average" golfers stroke the ball, never hold their
finish, and are trying to guide the ball into the hole with
their putter and body.

Or in other words, trying too hard.

Look, when you putt you shouldn't overemphasize that you
are trying to hole the putt.  You shouldn't say things like

"I need to hole this" or "come on, try really hard to hole this".

That sort of thinking creates tension.  And when you're tense
while putting, for some reason the ball does not fall in.

Instead, here's what you should do.

Pick a line and pace for each putt and focus on hitting the putt
along the line you've chosen with good speed, then let the
outcome take care of itself.  Instead of trying to hole the putt
you should be trying to do the task of putting as well as you
can.  Then, again, let the outcome take care of itself.

What I'm talking about is focus.  Focus on something you can
control, e.g. your putting routine, your putting stroke, your
mental attitude, your line, your speed.  Don't focus on something
you can't control, i.e. trying to hole the ball.

Do this the next time you putt and you will hole more putts
without trying.

However, this entire concept relates to every shot you you play.
Because if you're overly tense and steering your putts, you're
more than likely going to be overly tense on your drives, your
iron shots, your pitch shots, your chip shots, bunker shots, etc.

If as you're reading this and thinking about your golf game you
think that you're often steering your shots and feel tense at the
end of your swings, then this is a major problem for you.

And the only way you're going to improve your golf game is by learning
how to hit shots with ONLY the necessary amount of tension.  To
help you do this here's a program {affiliate URL here) that explains
in depth what you need to do and gives you audios to guide you through
the process needed to do it.

That's right, this program will explain in step-by-step detail how to hit your
golf shots with only the necessary amount of tension needed to hit
great shot after great shot, like you know you're capable of.

This program is on special right now and it teaches you how to do
this, but it's only available on special for a very limited time.

So go here right now to check it out and learn once and for all how to hit
your shots with freedom...

Here's what one golfer said after going through this program:

"I love playing golf BUT the mental stress I would experience
when playing golf was wearing me out.

 I just wanted to relax
and enjoy my games without worry.  That was the main reason
I tried this program.  I am now pleased to report that I can now
play my games stress free.

As a result I enjoy playing golf more
and I have dropped about 7 strokes from my scores.  That is nice
but it was more important to me to play without the stress and
worry.

Thanks to your program I achieved this goal.
It's the best mental training program I've ever seen!"

Mark Tan, Texas, USA

Have a great rest of the week.

The Excessive Tension Test

If after your shots you feel really tense or are moving your body
around trying to steer the ball, then you've swung with too much tension.

You will never enjoy playing golf or play up to your true potential if
you continue to do that.

If that sounds like you then go here and get The Mental Golf Mastery

program on special and solve that problem once and for all so you enjoy

playing golf more and lower your scores.  How impressed are your playing
partners going to be when you do that?
